Okay, I created a shaman bot, and wanted to delete him a few days ago, however, I get this error when I try.

"Database Error. #1451: Cannot delete or update a parent row: a
foreign key constraint fails ('thehiddenforest/botpets',
CONSTRAINT'FK_botpets_1' FOREIGN
KEY ('botId') REFERENCES 'bots' ('botID'))

Um...lil help? I just want the lil bugger deleted!

bots are bound to characters, not accounts. did you create him with a toon that you deleted lateron?

I tried creating and deleting another bot, and it worked just fine. So I don't know what the deal is.

The error message sounds like a duplicate Bot ID#. There are probably checks in place for this, but assuming two characters created Bots around the exact same second, I guess its bound to happen once out of twelve-thousand.

Looks like that Bot can't be deleted, not really a big deal. I have 60+ Bots created on my characters.

I was having problems deleting a bot once. I just waited until the next day and it worked fine.

Yeah, its been a few days now. I was told not to worry about it, and just enjoy my perma-bot. *shrug* Oh well.

i find i get that message whenever i try to delete a bot with a pet.
