Paladin tank bot: One hander/Shield?

Leveling up so far with a paladin bot I've used whatever best 2hander I had for him. As I approach 70 should I switch this line of thinking and start to look for a good one hander/shield combination?

I would stick to the 2 hand slashing, unless you find a really good 1 hand slasher and shield.

I went 1h + shield because the tank bots hold agro really well, die really fast, cast der de der spells all the time and basically need all the help they can get.
AC + HP + Mana on the 1h/shield combo generally is better then the 2h weapon you'll find.

Good 1hs drops in crypt in Seb - Duke as I remember; blood of chottal drops a good shield, that's right behind. In the entry to Emp room in Seb.

i as well have been wondering this. my biggest thing is finding a good shield lol.
IMO
2H is good for leveling, high DPS but dies fast.
1H/shield - i dont need him to do massive amounts of DPS, just dont waste time healing.
