Shamans and healing

Think people kinda already figured bots are horrible at healing, but I feel this one takes the cake.

I started on this server last night and made a Shadow Knight with a Shaman partner, figured that the buffs would help all over the place and healing wouldn't be needed nearly as much due to having life siphoning spells.

Started out just fine, noticed that at low levels the Shaman bot would start throwing healing spells on me at the slightest damage that popped up. However, as I leveled up further, the Shaman bot started taking a higher preference to casting DoTs and DD spells on the target I'm fighting while randomly casting buffs in combat, not once bothering to throw a heal spell. Even one instance I had went through a battle and was left with 40% of my HP without the Shaman so much as throwing a Greater Heal.

Sat down after the fight to regenerate, and the moment my HP reached 95%, the Shaman bot took notice and finally threw a healing spell on me. However, that was the last time I saw it ever use a heal spell and that was at level 36. I'm level 45 now and the Shaman still prefers to cast buffs and every offensive spell under the sun instead of focusing on throwing heals when my HP starts to drop. Even putting the Shaman on #bot group guard, it'll just sit there and cast buffs and buffs and buffs, never once calling any sort of function to throw some healing on me.

Is this expected to happen for Shaman bots all the way up to end-game?

It's possible I missed a segment of levels to determine which heal spell the bot shoul use. I thought I had heal spells for all levels accounted for, but I'll check in the morning when I get a chance.

You said it was level 36-45, were there any other level ranges where you noticed that they stopped healing?

To be safe, I'd probably check at least down to level 30 or so.

(EDIT)

Seems the Shaman is now properly casting healing spells at level 46, so approximate heal break range is 30-45, somewhere within there. Even now, it seems the bot is random on when it wants to heal. One fight I had it heal twice, next fight it didn't heal at all.

Should be fixed with next reboot. The shaman bots had their heal spell's all mixed up through 18-51 =/

So since I hit level 52 last night, I should be noticing heals more often if I have my Shaman on guard, or is it still going to take a preference to casting damage spells over healing?

(EDIT!)

I found out the hard way that if I have a regeneration buff on, the Shaman bot will absolutely refuse to cast healing spells. Clicking off the regeneration buff will prompt healing until I'm at full health, then the regeneration buff gets recast.

Just want to confirm that this is indeed an issue with regeneration spells like Chloroplast.

Confirmed. Known issue. Vaion fixed the general healing scheme that bot shaman's perform in the mid-level range, but all healing bots (afaik) cannot tell the difference between a regen spell and a HoT spell, and thus cease healing when chloro/regen buffs are on.

Temporary work-around is to right click and block the regen buff, or box a healer.

I'll look into it tomorrow/later this week if I get a free moment. :)
