Timeline when this changed? Right after the last revision announcement (958) or within the last couple of days?

bard bots dont play any songs anymore, besides chorus sometimes outside of combat but even that is iffy ( and to answer your question striat it was after rev update they stopped playing all the songs they used to)

Just curious, if you don't have any buffs on you at all, will the bot still stay silent and not sing?

Kinda like the cleric bot who will not heal properly if you have a regen spell on you.

found the problem, when you first summon the bot and first enter the first combat it will play the song once ( after the 18 seconds are up it wont renew the song unless if you camp it and resummon), the same goes with their healing chorus

but even then its only doing war march of muram for that short bit, its not using psalm of veeshan or call of power anymore

Yah i rolled one as a bot just tonight, thinking all those bard songs twisted would be great at low lvl.. ).
All it did was lvl 1 song and very rarely hp regen. let it get beat down to 50% life and it didnt even sing hp regen to top itself up.

Decent dps at low lvl with the crush sword, but useless really.

I think another issue with bots might be attempting to play a song that doesn't work in certain situations, such as selo's indoors. It also happens to PC's you have to actually click a spell gem then redo the melody to get it to work again. Hope this may help.
