Issue with no toons on fesh install

I started with P1999 that used a EMU launcher. I then found THF on the server page and switched to this. Now that I am of lvl to use the Custom spells i tried and it didnt work. I downloaded spell files tried that no go. So i moved files to another area and started fresh following THF walk through for install. I get in the sever page it shows only THF. But once i get to the character screen it doesnt show any of my toons. I dont know what to really do from here i tried making a toon logging into the game and it lets me in plays well shows everything proper. Just not showing my original toons. If i load the other way with the launcher and get into the game it works fine as far as seeing my toons and letting me play them i just am not able to use the custom files.

make sure your EQhost in your fresh install is set to the eqemu login
