New player with some questions.

I'm new to the server but a returning player, I played up through omens of war, and have some questions concerning later game content and classes.

I played a druid and loved the versatility of the class. I've read the boards and noticed a distinct lack of druids. My main concern is that at 70 there'd be no opportunities for a druid. Would I be better off just playing a cleric?

If druid is indeed viable, what is the preferred bot? What summoned equipment should be given to a druid pet?

If druid isn't viable, what is the preferred bot for cleric?

I play a druid, not as my main because it's just so hard to have a healer/caster main on this server.

Druid are perfectly fine if you are not looking for extra dps. Druids are top single healer, they do just as good as cleric , they only lack the group heals.

Their epic 2.0 boost the overall spell dmg in raid, they are the main adventage of druids.
on highend game you get some pretty cool spells/buff like MoonCurse/hp regen ds and a little nuke that will procc a 2.0 like spell.

Playing a main Cleric can be pretty much boring as you will only cast hp buff/ DI and heals.

I suggest you to do a Druid , take time to level him and get a bot. 2 possibilities on bot.
1 : War or Pal bot. they won't get you very far in progression, you will need group anyway.
2 : a Rogue or Monk bot. they both deal great dmg. the rogue is simpler because it gets behind the mob to you get less micromanagement. The monk is cool because you can handhim down your old gear since you both share the leather armor.

my advice, if you don't plan on boxing , start your druid with a monk bot and have fun

We need more druids! you would be able to find a guild very easly. like what has been said you would have more dependce on grouping with others, id say almost 75% of this server multi box's, you can still find ppl lfg, so just make friends and have fun with what you want to play.
