Health Bar bug?

New player to the server here.

Ever since I started leveling up a Necro my health bar has been acting weird. It doesn't ever show full, even when I take a comp heal from the buff bot it shows I'm at 77%. Is there a fix for this that anyone knows of?

this is an issue with the SoD client (uf/sof maybe too?)

basically that client added 1000 base hp or something like that and to keep things balanced its not recognized on the server so basically your @ 100% health but your client just doesnt register the server side difference

use the in game command #mystats and you will get an accurate reading.

Heard of this a lot while playing eqemu, but never seen it happen using OEM installs of any client with proper EQEmu/server required files.

Files right?
Using Default UI?

I did a search on the EQ Emulator forums and found this:

I assume you're using a SoD+ client? There's a rule, Character:SoDClientUseSoDHPManaEnd, that changes the formulas to more closely match the client. Set it to true.

That's correct, but we haven't decide on turning on this formula yet, it would give 1K HP advantage to SoD+ clients over Titanium users. Our client version support policy is "no one left behind" plus being equal with everyone. :P

Cool, coolcoolcool.

I just wanted to make sure it wasn't something that I did or didn't do. I'll go back to using the Titanium client when playing on THF. It's all good! Thanks for the reply.

Was aware of the server side setting and that THF didn't use it. Sorry to post so unhelpful before.

I did a bit of experimenting and found out why I never noticed this issue with newer clients. It has to do with the way LAA: Health Enhancement and Aura of the Deathbringer (any increase Max HP V2 effect?) is calculated. With both of these effects the UI reports 100% for my melee, and 99% for my spell casters.

At lower levels the quick solution is probably to get the Donator Aura (+1000 Max HP V2). It'd be worth it imho. UF client is so much nicer.

Heroic Stamina adds to the misreporting by the way Vaion.
