I failed 1st attempt as the wife blew a fuse literally - the lights went out. So I got dragged away just as I engaged because no lights while watching TV was more important that me spending 30 mins to CR and setup my toons again. - Result Wipe (Well Nobody was there to press HEAL on me as I was boxing)
2nd Attempt I locked the wife in the cupboard, with a torch and a book called 'How marriages break down'. Only kidding about the book, she cant read
I engaged, she depops, I find her again, I kick ass, she depops, I find her again, I kick ass. Now around 20% I notice a lot of adds around me (Might have been earlier, but come on I had 16 toons screens to think about so little details like whats happening are kinda missed!), so I start AE agro with the PAL. Now I start to notice that my DPS crew is struggling to take her HP's down. 15%.. 11%..15%.. 9%.. 10%. etc etc so I think.. I need more DPS!! and click some clickies that should, in theory, make my dps crew be noticed. Eventually just as I think i'm doomed (and her hp's hover around 1% for what seems like ages) she goes down just as my main tank goes down. No biggies as my PAL is starting to wonder if my warrior should just wear a bow and call himself a ranger, as he saves the day again with his ability to not die.Anybody got any suggestions on anything I did wrong? Do I need to kill the adds to stop her regenning so much, or as she went down anyway just stick with dishing out more dps than the regen?
Hatchet Event:
1st Attempt I setup clerics out of line of sight etc etc, very booring stuff. Ran in, got some AE on most of my toons, adds popped without me noticing so soon my warrior was struggling. No worries I thought, sent in the PAL, who seemed to keep stopping from some ae, and eventually got into range to ae some mobs away from my war. Wiped around 50% I think just because was all new to me, and when I killed an add it seemed to pop into 2 more.
2nd Atempt I have a big wee so I'm not distracted, then similar tactics but this time I had the tanks closer to Hatchet so I didnt run a small marathon getting to him (still have some stupid AE that seemed to root, and some AE hurts most of my toons no matter how far away) but the clerics have group heal/epic which seems to handle that well enough. I kept my toons on dps'n Hatchet who were right by the door to his room but still getting hit by ae, with my pal right up close to Hatchet AE agro anything that pops. My warrior died around 15%, but my PAL being 100x better than a warrior for not dying, loved the attention and kept agro while somehow I managed to change my healers target, and start bashing the 'I WANT TO LIVE' button to heal the PAL. Hatchet died to a great sound of a horn fanfare and several naked woodelve cheerleaders popped (cmon Vaion you could make this happen!) and just 1 or 2 orcs were still living, so I killed them.
Sorry for the long post, but basically after checking the fight logs, I saw hatchet saying something about raising his axe above his head to kill me in 1 shot. Anybody know what this is meant to be doing because I have no clue.
Anybody got any useful tips that might help me not die quite so much and mind sharing?
