Drakkin breath weapons?

Since updating to the Steam SoD client, I've found myself intrigued by the new race, the Drakkin, and rolled a Drakkin Monk. Reading up on them, I discovered that they have an inherent Dragon Breath racial attack that improves every 5 levels.

It varies according to your exact Heritage as a Drakkin - for instance, a Gold-heritage Drakkin would learn Breath of Keikolin while a Blue-heritage Drakkin would learn Breath of Osh'vir.

Interestingly, you do not start the game with these racials, nor do they improve automatically. They grow via quests, one of which is available at every 5 levels, starting at level 5 and ending at the level cap, if you've completed the initial quests in Crescent reach to be eligible to learn them. Each time you complete the quest for your level your Breath attack is bumped up to the next rank

So, I've got 3 questions regarding this:
  • 1). Is it possible to reach Crescent Reach to do the quests for the breath attacks? I noticed that the PoK teleporter to take you there isn't present, and it's not available from the Normal Zone teleporter.
  • 2). If it is possible, are the quests working and in order, allowing a Drakkin player to obtain make use of his racials?
  • 3). If either the answer to 1 or 2 is "no", are there any plans to make the Drakkin racials available?

iirc, the drakkin breath weapons were horrid at best on live. unless THF staff has something better in mind, it wouldn't be worth your time.

I dont think even PEQ has those. They are terrible. Wouldnt be surprised if no one bothered to code it all because of how terrible it is vs. the time it would take.
Not going to finish the rest as its a major knock on PEQ and the dev team about some issues I have with them.

It's pretty much what grey is saying. No one has bothered to code them in because they were absolutely horrible.

Now that's not to say that we won't add some new racial AAs ever, but I would highly doubt these will ever make their way into THF.

Aww. Well, that kinda sucks - I was thinking about seeing if the gold/blue/red/black dragon breath resist debuffs could make spellcaster classes who have problems with mobs resisting them more manageable.

That said, if you don't have any plans to bring the Dragon Breath racial to THF (it's a lot of work, especially if you try to include the quests), that's fine. I do hope you give the Drakkin a racial effect though. Without dragon breath, they're the only race besides human that totally lacks one.
