Underfoot breaking chat links?

Just installed the Underfoot client today and it truncates the first 5 letters of all item links in chat. I asked in OOC and others said yes they experience this as well. Is there no known fix for this?

No fix, just due to people using different clients. It's not really broken, just a graphical display issue. You can (or should be able to anyway) click on the link and get it to popup.

I play on UF and I roll my eyes whenever I see a shortened chat link. I'm a bit of a "clientist". There's zero reason to use Titanium anymore, it's highly outdated. UF is superior in every single aspect. Many new features (some of which are begrudgingly disabled on this server to try and keep the old fogies of titanium in a "fair" scenario), better character control, improved cpu/memory performance especially when boxing multiple characters. Not to mention the bi-daily /oocs from a P99 player asking "Why can't I aug this item?"

And it takes 5 minutes at the maximum to find a free copy of UF specifically set up for this server if you have the motivation to do so (not going to say how, that is understandably against the rules for legal purposes.) Many people hark about the "missing files", but those also aren't hard to find (can even obtain them legally), and most of the resources where you'd find UF (/em dons eyepatch and wooden leg) already have those missing files ready to go.

The only downside I can think of is not being able to levitate in DSK. Which is, eh. A shame the "client balance" doesn't go both ways, eh? :*)
