Solo / duo possibility

Hi all I used to play on this server long ago. I'm thinking of returning but I have a crappy laptop now instead of a solid rig. I was wondering what kind of content I could get with 1-2 toons and no bots. I think bots are cheating. I'll not be doing any raids and if I have to take extra time to farm specific gear I'm down for that . I'm not a head smash my way through and hope I survive kind of player. Thank you in advance! Oh and my play times are 2-6am so I don't expect a lot of people on when I am:)

Without donor gear 1-2 chars will hit Max level and maybe depending on classes some named in 70 group zones. A sk with donor v1 weapon could solo the first couple of raid tiers

You can get through almost all the group content just fine with 1-2 toons, non donor. Especially with how powerful some of the bazaar gear is these days. SK will be the better tank in early tiers. Healer bot might suffice for group content, but I dunno since I really only whip her out these days for cures. I noticed though that she actually nukes quite a lot these days, which must've started happening after the code merge because they never used to nuke. They only buffed/healed. For anyone who's minimal boxing and going to be spending a lot of time in early content, I recommend a beastlord. Buy the T8 pet from another player and it's a wrecking ball. You can even stand back and add some crappy heals if your heal bot gets overworked, all while your pet demolishes content.

Take all the advice on boxing ... stick characters etc etc and you may be able to box 3 or more. Some guilds are looking for solo players too...could take that route.

I would think that without any donors you could probably get to Kael solo/duo but most likely that zone will be difficult because those giants hit pretty hard. Like Nilbus said a SK with the donor 1.0 weapon could probably take you to at least T1 raid zone and maybe T2 if you don't mind it taking forever to kill some of the mobs. Solo I would definitely pick a pet class and grab you a T8 pet once you hit level 70. That will get you into some of the higher content without donating. A pet class with the donor pet could take you through several of the raid tiers solo. There is a ton of content below the raid tiers anyway so you should have plenty to see and do.

I saw it, but bots are so horrible I ignored it Mainly because I think when he discovers how bad they are, he'll probably view them less as cheating and more as, "I guess it's like a crappy HoT clicky that eats 1/2 my exp."
