I'm not sure why the client would have a conflict when if I attack the Dragon Sage I get whomped, as it regards to using an unoptimized client.
Furthermore, I'm not precisely sure how to create an unoptimized client. I know how to code in BASIC. But, I don't exactly know my way around the entirety of the EQ subdirectories, particularly when it comes to modifying it so it doesn't draw as much system resources in the way of rendering.
What I assume you're telling me, Ydiss, is that your unoptimized client couldn't efficiently track your location to your computer monitor itself and it's a waypoint problem that occurs between serverside and clientside. But, you had said it was your unoptimized client that does it. For me, it's a normal client.
In short, I appreciate your attempts at helping me. However, it isn't really helping me and I don't think it's an issue between a disparity of the location of my character according to the server versus the location of my character according to my client, which would be the root issue and could be caused by using a client that has a borked graphics setup, as your unoptimized clients would do, yet my optimized clients would not do. This doesn't resolve the issue that I can't interact with the Dragon Sage with only that character.
