Unable to play with UF client

Open logs folder and find dbg.txt and tell me what the very first line is.
I'm curious what your build date is, might answer some questions.

I am beginning to think I got a borked copy of the UF client.

Where did you get that copy? Its the correct date except you have UI pieces from eq live.
If you know of a place I can upload a zip file I can zip my ui folder and send it to you.
Though thinking about it there is really only one other spot you might need to change. I'll try to find it.

I got my UF client from here : http://ezserveronline.com/forums/index. ... pic=2890.0

I downloaded the ui from https://s3.amazonaws.com/THFMAIN/default.zip here that vaion posted earlier.

I made a copy of the UF client, plus the missing files just for hiddenforest. I then ran the THF patcher from that directory and then I got those errors.

I get the same error when I try to connect to other emu hosts as well. ..

edit: did you check the eqhost.txt file to see that its set correct and add the ' patchme ' at the end of your shortcut?
I'm sure vaion's UI link is correct but that download is a pos.

Thanks .. I will give it a whirl. I figured the dl was not reliable since I could connect just fine with the titanium client. Is UF the most recent client or is there a better one to look for?

I just checked my UI errors and I have the same errors (merchant stuff) so that is not the reason why you cannot get into the game.

Do this for me, in your logs folder there is a file called dbg.txt, post that on pastebin or in here so we can read where your client is crashing at.

RoF is the newest client but has enough stuff still broken with it I wouldn't use it.
