I tried Gozzrem last night and he completely wiped us but by the sound of it he is one of the hardest names I could of picked to try. I am trying to go through the progression without getting any donator items so I definitely can use all the help I can get.

I'm doing the same thing myself, here's the group makeup that I have (there are only 2-4 of us at any given time):

Player 1 (2-boxing):
Lvl 70 SK /w 1500+ AAs, full Group Leadership AAs, 100% LDoN armor /w assorted LDoN jewelry and Axe of the Orcslayer (very helpful proc), epic 1.5 and Kael gloves (for the defensive clicky)

Lvl 70 Mage /w 1200+ AAs, mostly LDoN armor with some pieces of Ssra gear, epic 1.5 pet /w Minion of hate (45% pet focus)

Either a Berzerker or Cleric bot (both mostly kael geared) depending on what we were fighting

Player 2 (2-boxing):
Lvl 70 Cleric /w about 150 AAs, mostly Kael armor

Lvl 70 Ranger /w 50 AAs, half Kael/Half ToV armor

We were able to kill everything in in East and West ToV last night. We've killed all of the epic 2.0 dragons in North ToV with our 3rd and 4th players (comparably geared SK, another Cleric and a druid).

It can be one grouped without donors, having a lot of AAs (especially for tanks) really helps. On the West wing dragons, just be sure to pull the adds first. As an SK, you can also run in with Harmshield to give the healers and boxed toons a chance to get into position. Just wait to attack/heal until the SK can get agro.

Nice! We only have 2 players so far. I'm trying to get my other friend to start playing so we can have 3. Our current setup is like this:

1st Player (Me)
70 SK /w 425 AAs, Full ToV armor (except Chest piece, Haven't had the guts yet to try to kill Mr. Cursed)
70 War /w 75 AAs, Half ToV armor / Half Keal
70 Bard /w 175 AAs, Mostly Keal armor
70 Cleric /w 100 AAs, Mostly Keal armor / Some ToV
70 Ranger /w 50 AAs, Mostly Chaotic gear (Still a work in progress)

2nd Player
70 Monk /w 100 AAs, Full ToV armor (except Chest)
70 Druid /w 10 AAs, Choatic armor (just barely lvled him up)

We have been clearing most of East and West now. Hopefully we will be able to take down Cursed and Keeper this weekend.

For an SK what is some good AAs to go for after the basics (Defensive, Crits, LT)

I'm impressed -- this content was tuned around 2-3 groups of people (non-donor), so 1 grouping it as intended is definitely something to brag about. Hopefully you can continue this trend into ST, but good luck with Sleeper =)

We took down Dozekar the Cursed last night, but ended up wiping on the Keeper.

Gratz, Lazy.

This morning I had the pleasure of downing Dozz as well. I took The keeper down 2 days ago after wiping 2x on her. What a freakin' rush to do something like this yourself.

My non-donor warrior is 20khp, 4.5k buffed AC and i brought my Ranger, Rogue, Sham, Clr, Rogue bot.... Even with my AC as high as it was it seemed like Dozz was still smacking full steam.. needless to say - when I was non-defensive I had to pray my heals were going off so I didnt get 2 10k rounds in a row. Time to turn farm mode on.

I spent so much time getting Sturdyness augs my head is still spinning... and if blood would spawn i'd have a HH mask which would boost me a ton... I'm looking forward to getting into Ntov and ST!
Thanks for the memories.

Dozz is quite nasty the first few times you have to kill him. Once you are set though it gets much easier. IIRC when I went through it seemed to have an AC threshold to where once past that point it was much much easier on my war <as long as def disc is up>. If your def disc is fading before fight is ending hook up more DPS if you can. From what I have fought having def down is basically signing a death warrant and mobs have a tendency to one round you.

Hi Bob,

In my experience, defensive AAs are very helpful! Eventually, you'll want to max out your resists and stat cap AAs, at 625 across the board, you'll be able to cancel out most of the ToV dragon AoEs.

Jeido,

Thanks! We started doing ST recently and have cleared all of the bosses up to the sleeper! We tried him once, his damage wasn't bad at all, but we ultimately ran out of mana due to his massive debuffs. We didn't know anything about him or what to expect, so it was excited! We got him down to 80%, so I'm optimistic that we'll be able to to take him down once we collect some more ST augs.

Thanks for the encouragement!

We killed Dozz again last night but Keeper is still too stubborn to just die. My sk doesn't have as much ac as your war (19khp, 4.2k buffed AC). We tried another few times. My pride is too wounded to admit how many times we died to him but needless to say we got him down to 8%. Next time he is ours!

I did Dozz again last night with a friend who brought his donor-ranger... Dozz was absolutely cake because he died before Defensive went off.

It seems like the problem you are having isn't actually tanking - seems that its the same problem that I have - Healing and DPS.

To boost my solo group I had to farm 40 AAs on ranger to get him somewhat useful then grab some lower-tier gear to meet the server +Attack cap. I'm gonna do a bunch of LDONs to get the Bow as well - while im at it i'll grab another 35ac for my warrior from an Aug. I finished HH yesterday as well so I got a huge boost there. Nice.

We are both far enough from the AC cap that he will max hit both of us while we are out of Defensive. I noticed that I have a tenancy to let my shaman end a fight with 80% mana... Making sure a heal lands every single round may be the answer if you can spare the mana.

Soloing stuff is a challenge, but its rewarding.
Thanks for the memories.

That is a good point. My friend and I were able to find Emperor Ssra up. Had some help taking him down so now we have a good solid 2 groups to start running through ToV.
