May I ask if that was all three items? Pet hold, pet summoning AA and shissar scales?

1) pet hold isn't broken.
2) quick summoning is fixed to include a number of spells that were not part of the list.
3) life is a game of flipping quarters... You either get heads or tails.. Or on this case you either get scales or you don't :p

1) Yes, I do believe pet hold IS broken. When a pet is focused, pet hold doesn't work. I have tested this in various zones. Try it.

3) Ok, fair enough. But I still think the drop rate is off. Answer me this. Is the drop rate for all the items supposed to be near the same at all? Or is it supposed to be wildly low on the scales? What I do know is that I have several toons that are working on this quest and they all have the eggs, blood and venom sacks (which seem to drop at a fairly reasonable rate) and only a few scales each. One would think that one might be near to finished with this quest by the time one has finished the Key to Emp quest. But since my toons are all stuck with about 4-6 scales and looking at much longer in Ssra to finish this up.. one might think the drop rate is a tad low. This is of course nothing more than my opinion and if this is how it is meant to be, then so be it. I merely give feedback to inform you about it.

You sure you havent got anything like mqmelee running that is forcing your pet to engage?

Try it with /pet focus on, that's when I was able to duplicate his issue.

I see what you were saying now. It wasn't that pet Hold is broken, but more of pet Focus is broken. The issue was that if the pet had a target already (something to focus on) then it would stay focused on that target even if you were trying to remove it. I added an extra check that forces the pet to lose it's target if you use the command /pet back off or /pet hold. That should fix the issue where they are focusing on their target while trying to get them to retreat.

I just went through and checked every drop table with the scales on them.. They all have the exact same % chance of dropping as the other pieces (eggs/blood/sacks). Its just luck of the draw. I will tell you that there are some NPCs in SSra that have a higher % chance though. (Elite Temple Guards, Shissar Disciple, Shissar Experimenter)

Glad we got that settled My pets were taking a serious beating from enrage!

As for the scales, thanks for listening. And I appreciate the tip on which mobs might improve drop rate.
