Re: Help with Raiding in ToV

We took down Keeper easily with 2 clerics and a shaman for patch heals. We then proceeded to show North ToV who is boss. Aaryonar still got the better of us but we managed to take down:

    Ikatiar the Venom
    Eashen of the Sky
    Lady M
    Lord Koi`Doken

We only tried Aaryonar once and we didn't get our healers positioned correctly so the AoE simply devoured their mana. I'm so excited to finally be taking down these dragons.

Thanks for all the info and help.

Grats lazy! Aary is cake once you get the positioning right -- just make sure you slow him before sending in dps ^^

My shaman has the new LDoN slow so getting him slowed isn't too difficult. Just need to figure out the positioning.

Position for your clerics is key when undergeared. I can tell u where I place mine if It helps, but didnt want to just post it and spoil the fun unless you get stuck.

Lingering sloth is ballar.

It sucks when Aary resists the slows - even after a malo.

Can you sneak by Aary without aggroing him? That Charm upgrade will boost AC =)
Thanks for the memories.

So after raiding a while in ToV we have been able to kill our way up to Lady M. I'm just hoping a CoH orb drops. We still haven't killed Aaryonar but I think we figured out a good place to hide our healers. Should only be a matter of pulling the stupid dragon and making him give up his loot.

You're getting there! I've killed Lady M about 10 times or more and she finally dropped the CotH clicky, but I've heard other accounts of not seeing it after 20+ kills, but I can't attest to the exact drop rate - sufficed to say that it's rare and you'll have plenty of time to gear up for ST while you're waiting for it ;).

We successfully took down Aary two days ago! He was a bit tricky to get slowed but once he was maloed and I chain casted slow till it landed he was cake. Now I just can't wait for Lady M to give us an orb *fingers crossed*

Thanks again.

So we have managed to kill all the names in Ntov except Lord Vyemm, Dagarn the Destroyer, and Vulak. We almost took down Dagarn but I underestimated him right at enrage and got us wiped. Overall I would say that I am really enjoying the ToV content. I believe we are almost ready to take down Vulak. Should we try Lord Vyemm first just to gauge how we will do on Vulak or is Vulak slightly easier than Vyemm now?
