The Hidden Forest

Hi I am new to the server looking to solo as far as I can and not box, what class would be best to do this, I am looking to buy a donor weapon/shield or weapon/BP. Any help would be great. I am thinking Rouge or Monk, but let me know if something else would be better like an SK or Paladin. I would like to eventually get into a High progression guild but that will take some time.

Pure solo? Forget both Monk and Rogue.
SK or Pally would be good choices but xxx xxxx you'll have some long and boring xxx fights on your hands.

As a suggestion, you should reconsider boxing. Even adding one or two more toons will give you considerably more options. You can box 2 or 3 pretty easy without needing to play around with macros or anything more tricky than Alt-Tab.

That said, if you find a progression guild, let me know. I have been on a long break because I don't really want to join a guild that's several tiers above my current boxed group.

You can solo to max level as any class (with a bot for sure) but if you want to solo early raid tiers, a SK with donor weapon v1 is damn near unkillable. I would agree that it becomes much much easier if you box even just a couple of characters so that you can have a tank, a healer and a dps. My original boxing was my SK (with aforementioned donor wep) a mage and a cleric Bot.

If you are looking for just pure soloability, a necro with donor BP/wep/aug is probably your best single character bet.

The BP summons the best necro pet (with a 10% melee damage lifetap which is very important for soloing, allowing him to solo better than the donor mage pet), the weapon v1 gives him a huge buff and the aug is the best pet focus in the game. This pet hits for over 15k and fast.

Using only the necro pet and a cleric bot, you could probably solo all the way through T3... maybe T4.

If you don't like pet classes, a SK with donor wep and legs is a great solo machine, although very slow.

When you're discussing SK's Donor Weapon, Why is V1 better than v2

The clickie on v1 is a 3k dot on the target and a 1.5k per tick heal for you and your group. It has no recast delay so you can keep it up forever.
