The Hidden Forest

Upon reaching level 70 I began the aa grind. I opened my AA window, while having more than 30 aa's saved up, almost every single AA in the game has been turned off/grayed out. I can't put points into them. I can put none in class, none in archtype, there are a few in the later expansions open but hardly any at all. Mostly the crafting aa's. There are no combat AA's available for my toon. I play a bard. Is this normal? I'm running on Titanium, and came from the p99 server. I've fully patched with THF patcher. The game runs great, but no aa's. Not sure what to do from here. I have also made sure that they don't require prior required skills,which they dont. For example, class and archetype are completely grayed out and most skills have no prior requirements. Please help

Two questions!

1) Did you just patch over p99 files, or did you use a fresh install for THF (you're going to want a fresh install; not sure if it's causing issues here but just patching over p99 files has definitely caused people problems in the past)

2) Have you put 6 points into AA's in the general tab? If not, you won't be able to put any into class or archetype tabs if you're using Titanium.

EDIT: IIRC with Titanium you need 6 in general and 12 in archetype before you can put any into the class tab. Later clients changed these restrictions so they may not be in the actual text of the AAs anymore.

I did patch straight over the p99 install. I started out on p99, so I installed Titanium, then copied the p99 files into my directory. After a couple weeks I discovered THF. I did what you said, and put 6 points into my general tab and it did unlock my class tab. I was unaware of the requirements to open new tabs. Is it the same for archetype and beyond? Just thought I'd add that you'll still need to use a fresh copy of Titanium, SOF, or Underfoot that hasn't been patched (to either live, or any other server, especially P99). Just patching with the THF files is not enough. I'm surprised you reached level 70 without discovering other issues with your P99 "tainted" client.

This copy of Titanium has not been patched. I've actually had a really great experience here so far. The only thing I encountered along the way with my "tainted" (lol) client is a graphical problem where sometimes when looking in a certain direction the screen would go black. You could see aura's and spell effects but nothing else. That seems to have gone away though, I haven't run into that in days. I'm no longer having a problem with my aa's and all seems well.

By not patched, do you mean, not patched to Live, or not patched to P99?

I'd be surprised that your client is still functioning 100% being that it was patched with P99 files. You may not experience issues now, but possibly down the road. I'd still advise a fresh copy if you have one. That, or find a fresh install of Underfoot. Also, be sure to download the latest Free2Play RoF2 client from Steam, but be sure not to patch your fresh download.

Try updating your video card driver. I used to have the same graphics error awhile ago.

I have finally acquired a copy of Underfoot and patched accordingly. The game is running smooth, and I have not had anymore issues with my AA's or screen tears. My graphics card is up to date and all seems well. Thank you all for the help. I certainly appreciate it.
