Unsupported: Contact THF admins

Hello -

I tried searching the forums first but did not find any actual evidence as to what may be causing this problem or a general fix.

I currently install the EQUF client from the download link provided on the Player Guide section. Once I have it downloaded, I extract it to my D hard drive. I run the patcher, it updates, and then states "Unsupported: Please contact THF admins".

I try to run eqgame.exe after updating my eqhosts file, but it returns with "not a Win32 application".

Any advice is welcome, thank you.

Try to re-download the THF patcher from here. It should run without any errors.

Hi - I gave up last time and decided to attempt again. Same exact problem. I download the client from the UF Players guide (first link). I download the installer from the install guide.

I extract my files to a folder, I extract the installer to the same folder, and overwrite the existing one. I run the installer, and I am met with UNSUPPORTED: Please contact the THF Admins. Is there anything I could possibly be missing?

I just read rmm10s installation process and realized that the files are corrupt (0kb on a lot). Does anyone have a separate or newer download for UF?

might try another downloader...likely corruption is occurring twixt you and server and isn't on the server itself.

Just a question and not a "try this"...

Can you delete any 0kb files and re-run the patcher to download new copies?

Would be alot quicker than downloading everything again to find the same problem...

That would normally work but the THF patcher only checks for the THF custom files so it won't be a solution. :/
