I found myself wondering last night about the hp regen rates for the Iksars and Trolls on this server. I know at some point on live the regen rates got reworked where normal regen got buffed and the Iksar/Troll regen got slightly nerfed if my memory serves me correctly. On P99 they use the old values and the racial regen bonus is a pretty big deal (from 2.5 to just shy of 3 times higher than normal at 60 for the different regen states), but I am wondering if that is the case here. I would realy like to see some sort of break down of regular vs racial regen through the levels for this server.

Since we are a custom server with many awesome custom items, your regeneration rate will jet to sky with item upgrades in no time. The classic racial regeneration rates are meaningless here.

Ya, I started to notice that today, already have several points of regen on my gear even at level 13. Barely ever sit an med, lol. Been having little troubles dealing with multiple yellows at a time and even took out a red named once, though that got me cocky and when I tried it on the next one I saw, he chewed through my pet in seconds and made short work of me after, lol.

I used to read a book at my desk while my wizard regenerated mana between kills on Live. Generally I'd get through 4 or 5 pages of fiction before he got back to full mana. Remember when you couldn't look around and had to stare at the book?

Lol, don't miss that at all. That was like the worst idea anyone has ever had for a game. "Lets make them open up their spell book in order to meditate, and on top of that lets make sure the spell book covers the entire viewport so they are completely vulnerable while they med!" >.< The original EQ team had a few real sadistic a-holes on it, lol. I loved my time spent on live for the most part, but damn did they love to frustrate the living hell out of their players back in the day, heh.

I remember a roommate in the dorm room adjacent to me would sit in raids (pre-luc) and study the whole time.
I sat for like a hour once watching him and it drove me insane how little he actually did on is mage till he kicked me out for interrupting his "study time" haha.
