Any killing time limitation？
Always being noticed "failed" in the 3rd step battle.
It took me nearly 2 hours.

I'm pretty sure the fights in Nadox do have a time limit, as do most fights in the higher tiers. 2 hours seems long though

How many toons are you attempting it with?

I tried to solo it twice...
It took me 2 hours to kill all trash mobs

Are you killing the trash mobs before you start him up?
I've never seen them respawn.
Ultimately, burn that DPS on him.
