The Hidden Forest

Recently i had to reformat my machine but before doing so, made sure to backup my EQ folder.
On finishing the install and copying that backup back, the game is massively laggy, to the point it's unplayable.

I've tried downloading a fresh copy of the client and doing everything the same way as i did last time, but i can't get it to a playable state.
I've also been into game and played about with the max CPU / Memory options, but it hasn't helped. Moving the EQ folder to the SSD Drive has made no difference either.

Any ideas what else i can do or check?

*edit* I've already had a quick search and I've set ServerFilter=1 but again, no change. I didn't have this setting set before the format either.

Try to temporary rename your eqclient.ini and see how the client behaves (it should create a fresh eqclient.ini).

Once again Lillu, you hero. It's running a lot smoother now.

I did try running a compare on the old eqclient and the new eqclient just to see if there were specific options that were changed, but strangely everything is laid out completely differently so notepad ++ is a bit of a mess.
