No quest dialogue?

For some reason the NPCs in the quest 'Welcome to the Hidden Forest' aren't saying anything. Am I supposed to just say hi to the NPCs or are they supposed to explain what they do?

In EverQuest you start the dialogue by Hailing them so if you target them and press H, you'll hail and start the conversation.
Generally youll need to use keywords to continue the discussion, sometimes they'll be obvious where the word is [surrounded] by brackets, but sometimes they wont be.
Generally you can just agree to whatever they ask and it'll carry on..
"I need someone to [go somewhere]"
"i will go somewhere"
"etc etc"

The NPC on thf have very small chatter window. So you will need to be almost on top of them to engage in conversations.
