EQPlayNice in WinEQ with new client?

Does anyone out there use WinEQ? If so, did you have any problems with the new UI and the EQPlayNice feature of WinEQ? I had to turn EQPlayNice off entirely within EQ or I cannot login at all. The built in frame limiting seems less effective so I have a fair bit of video lag these days now. I'm wondering if anyone else has run into this and fixed it?

Are you using the client downloaded from here? I could not get that one to work either. There was a thread about it somewhere actually. I had a "fresh" ROF2 client I was able to use and everything worked fine after I did that.

I've never used eqplaynice uf or rof2. Just limiting stuff with a minimal globalload for boxes and stick figures.

Would you mind posting your version of the globalload file? Or is there one posted somewhere you would recommend?

Actually you should turn off Eqplaynice it doesn't get along with the built in MQ2 stuff which works better then the EQplaynice.

I'll PM you my minimalist global load, but keep in mind the patcher will overwrite it.

I don't see an option to just turn that off. Can you still use WinEQ with out the play nice enabled?

right click wineq - options - preferences - Everquest - General - EQPLAYNICE set it to OFF
