Why do most Donor items have a type 2 slot? I haven't seen any type 2 augs above tier 6 with the majority being tier 5. Why have a Tier 10 item with an Aug slot to be filled by an aug with such a low tier rating and very limited selection of augs to fill it with? Why not make it a type 16 or 17 or 18?

although they are only marked as T6 items, the Type 2 augs from Tower of Solro are 60ac and 350hp which is on par or better than most T8 augs that are 8, 16, 17, or 18 such as the Kodiak or Aviak augs or HoH quested augs.

There is also a type 2 aug from that same zone that is 100ac and 300hp.

I have a few from sol ro and 1 from tactics, just seems kinda weird to me thats all

Especially considering content is going to start using a players tier to determine the difficulty of a zone/drops you get

There will be more type 2 augments.

Just to be clear, npcs won't auto scale based on your rank. We'll just be able to create content quickly based on a rank we give it.

But access to some things will be granted based on your rank. So it's still recognised type 2s need higher rank versions. They've been in our plans for a while though.

Ldons style items (not necessarily ldons specific content) is planned to be extended up to the top tier, accompanied by a different set of content we want to do.

I was really wondering because I am 23 points from being ranked as Fabled and was looking at ways to improve my rank and one glaring place was my type 2 augs in my tier 10 items.
