NC pet vs Draekon pet

Which pet do you think is better for melee support? And I mean just the pet itself...not counting the toon buff that the NC pet offers.
Both were cast while wearing the Statue of Draekon and so both should have gotten the extra stats offered by Dark Minion.
The upper attachment is of the Draekon pet (named Lonobab). The lower attachment is of the NC pet (named Xarer).
