I'm new to THF and have a quick question, I stopped at 55 to ask: should I head up and hit 70 and then just farm AA's, or should I take out about 300 now?

I'm just wondering because with 3x AA exp it might not make much of a difference, but I know mobs take longer to kill at higher levels.

Back in the day I was always used to be at the level cap before farming AA's.

Most will advise you get 70 before farming AA, as at 55 you are likely leveling in places like valor anyways which is also a great AA grind place at 70. You will kill there considerably faster at 70 than 55 so...

That makes sense. Thanks, I just didn't want to regret not farming them early.

if you stop at 55, the amount of Xp you need to get to 70, is equivalent to XP of about 50 AAs.
And trust me when I say that 15 levels- worth way more than that.
The amount of POWER your char gets from 15 levels, you won't be get even from 500 AAs.

just a different view....on my main which is a war I started getting my aa's at a slow rate (50% going to aa's) when I hit 60, for me I found it a lot easier to stay alive with the defensive aa's (I didn't box at that time) now on my alts I waited for 70 to start getting my aa's
