The Hidden Forest

Hello, i am new to this server and i am trying to get this to work heh. i followed the setup guide and put everything but the one file that says to go to resource folder in the EQ folder but i cant seem to talk to npc's some wave or just giggle.. any idea how to fix this please?

1. do npc gove you any text at all?

2. have you played on P99 prior to this?
