Hey,

I recently made an account for a friend and leveled up a character for them, but, when they try to login to the account it gives a password error..

I get the same error trying to log in to his regular account?

Can you not share account usage? Is this an EQEmu issue?

If you made the account on thf make sure your friends using the private logon. Any accounts made server side here dont work through the eqemu login

Accounts were made on eqemu LS site.. wasnt aware there was a THF option :X.

So, because i'm an idiot and didn't read all the thf getting started guides.. basically we are connecting to seperate login servers that dont have the information.

Guess just registering my accounts with the THF server will allow him to access them.

Might be useful to know what Client you are using as well, Since SOD client is only Private login. So if you made account with SOF on eqmu and your buddy is using SOD he will get a password error untill you change log in info to private while in game.
I had this issue with few of my toons, and after reformating i had no SOF client so toons were not able to log in to my new SOD,

Untill a good friend Vanquish decided to log my toons in and change them over to SOD for me

Sod works fine on the eqemu login too bosco just have to change the login correctly ( ports 5999 instead of 5998 if i remember correctly)
