Walkthrough

Some areas of Norrath are bright and cheerful - full of life and vigor! Dragon Necropolis, however, is not one of those places. Spiders, rats, and snakes bigger than you - oh my! However, this dark and dreary place is a necessary stop for the aspiring adventurer.

Quest mob:

Jaled Dar's shade lives on in this zone without end and awaiting the day when a group of adventurers strong enough can gather their strength and kill the Sleeper. Rough directions:

• Use the THF fairy, Elyse, and choose "necropolis" from the list.
• From the zone in, proceed straight for some time until you round the corner of a building on your right.
• Follow the side of the building and ahead of you will be some doors with a passage behind them.
• At the end of the passage there is a locked door, behind which is Jaled Dar's shade. Obtain the key to this door from any of the four dragons involved in this quest (see below).

Tip: If you can't find someone with a key, ask your local rogue for assistance. [[THIS DOOR CAN NO LONGER BE ROGUE PICKED]]

Quest text:

You say, 'Hail, Jaled Dar`s shade'

Jaled Dar`s shade says, 'Ahh.. someone managed to kill this arrogant Dragon in the Temple? About time! I have been sitting in this Tomb for an eternity. Look at me, look what they have done to me and they call me a traitor. Hah! But just wait, I have a plan. Are you willing to [help]?'

You say, 'I will help'

Jaled Dar`s shade says, 'Listen closely, mortal. If you bring me proof, that my greatest enemies are dead, i'm willing to give you proof that I am one of the [chosen].'

You say, 'You are chosen?'

Jaled Dar`s shade says, 'Yes, thats's right. I am one of the Chosen! There was an experiment, 5 Dragons wanted to cross their bloodlines to create the reincarnation of Veeshan. To become as powerful again as our brood used to be many centuries ago. But they tricked me and they created something that is known as the [Sleeper].'

You say, 'What is the sleeper?'

Jaled Dar`s shade says, 'The Sleeper is the result of pure hate, greed, arrogance and betrayal. It was planned that Phara Dar, Hoshkar, Nexona, Silverwing and myself to cross our blood lines and created the ultimate dragon. Instead Zlandicar, Klandicar, Sontalak and Yelinak crossed the bloodlines in the Tomb. Now help me seek [revenge] or get the hell out of this place!'

You say, 'Revenge shall be yours!'

Jaled Dar`s shade says, 'Ok, the traitors are Vulak, [Yelinak], [Sontalak], [Zlandicar] and his little brother [Klandicar]. Bring me proof that they are dead and i will give you the key to the place where the blood lines have been crossed.'

The task:

Jaled Dar's shade is seeking revenge for being betrayed and seeks proof that Yelinak (Skyshrine), Sontalak (Western Wastes), Zlandicar (Dragon Necropolis), and Klandicar (Western Wastes) are no more. If you kill these dragons, you will find that each of them drops two talismans:

• Yelinak's Talisman
• Sontalak's Talisman
• Zlandicar's Talisman
• Klandicar's Talisman

Obtain one of each of these and give them to Jaled Dar's shade to receive your reward.

The reward:

Sleeper's Key and access to raid teir 3, Sleeper's Tomb. This is also an essential part of the epic 2.0 quest.
