Is tinkering disabled on this server? I can't get a simple combine to work in a Deluxe Toolbox. The combine button remains grayed out.

And tinkering should work, you might want to ask a TS expert about available receipts. Some has the tinkering achievement.

I tried it in Deluxe toolbox and in regular toolbox to no avail. I'm almost in tears here. Help me Obiwan. You're my only hope!

Zaria im off for work here, but I can tell you that you need to head to PoI and collect carpaces. Ill hook up with you in guild chat tonight after I find the recipie.

Shaitan, I started farming them yesterday after finding a recipe on eqtraders =)

So it is indeed an SoD bug. I loaded up Titanium and was able to make combines. Is there possibly a fix for this? I had the same issue when I made a Shammy and she couldn't use the Medicine bag.

the fix is to use the best client: Titanium

There is no best. There is only different.

I prefer my pet hp bars, weightless money, target show buffs, and other UI perks in exchange for the headache of a cluttered item link display and occasional group bug. To each their own.

Also, to be on topic, I get this sinking feeling that functional tinkering will go the way of reselling ldon items for SoD users.

I've been loading Zaria on Titanium to do the combines but I won't play on it. I like the perks that Reid mentioned too much. =)
