Error 1017

i'm trying to log onto the private server and i keep getting error 1017 and it says i have to re-update the patcher

We don't use a patcher here.
Make sure your eqhost file is set correct and your desktop shortcut target: line looks something like
D:\Programs\EqEmu\SoDTHF\everquest\eqgame.exe patchme

yeah i have titanium, and that wouldn't work, it was working fine 4 days ago but then i got a temp ban and its not working, tried reinstalling completely, still not working..

Did you go an play on another server in the interim?

no i didn't i used to play on P1999 but i played here right after and this never happened, dunno what to do

just tried another server and it let me connect, then i even tried changing the EQhost.txt to thehiddenforest private one and it gave me the error code..it says its a connectivity to server issue and its usually temporary but it's been a while lol

Try going to the Command Prompt and typing:
ipconfig /flushdns

to no avail, i was thinking maybe my IP is still banned or something?
