Why doesnt search work?

Why doesnt search work when you try to look up zones or mobs? I am trying to look up zones and mobs that do exist on this server..

may depend on specific mobs in question.
script spawned mobs won't show up. and some of upper named removed from search on purpose

I thought the same thing, till I realized not to hit enter to search, but click the search button, then I got results. (this was in the Alla Clone database search)
