I don't think this is a stacking issue that would warrant the feedback/error page so I thought I would start here. I recently created, leveled, and am gearing a bard. I was playing with the songs and the epic 2.0 and it appeared Ancient: Call of Power did not stack with 2.0. I was wondering if this was intended and if so, what are some other common songs/melodies that boxers like to use for simplicity? I was trying to maximize DPS, particularly from my wizard. For further DPS considerations, the group has wiz/rng/war/bard/shm and rog bot.

Edit - Or maybe I have incorrectly identified the stacking issue but definitely is not taking hold on my current buff/song set up. Again, any feedback is appreciated.

Ill check them stacking when I get back on I as a bard never really used that song for once you get to lvl 70 that songs first upgrade is Orc Slayer (an ldon song you purchase in vale) I know for a fact our epic 2.0 stacks with Orc Slayer. (Orc Slayer is 40% over haste and added spell damage)

As for what to melody I play manna orc slayer sello for once you get to many solo/raid auras going in group they take your song slots and get spammed "the spell did not take hold" but for now those songs plus War Song for attk , Storm Blade for added procs (until you get ToV quest legs clicky with this song) also when your doing a name or long battle through Harmony of Sound as your 4th song in loop and you will lower resists on mob for nukes/procs.

This was helpful. The issue I was running into was too many effects in the songs window.

Are we still limited to 6 effects in song window? With auras eating up song slots, bards are kinda hurting

Pretty sure there are AAs they added to boost the song and buff slots to help alleviate the addiction us DPS have for buffs and songs.

For buffs, yes, we can have up to 24 buffs - but unless I am mistaken, that does nothing for song slots, which are in a different window entirely.

Yes both sets both sets of buff AA upgrades (to get more buff slots) for what I have seen allows more songs+auras up. Though when you rock 6 to 8 solo/raid auras and melody 4 songs that's 10 slots and most in game don't have the 400 AA into the last part up upgrades and if you add ToV clicky makes 11 if at a raid and someone else is doing manna could be 12 things up and that is with none of the 6 2.0's that would be in group to use so no matter what we never get to fully max out the possibility's but to be honest I'm not a 100% on how many active slots you can have in song window (options are almost endless hehe) but I'm getting on now to check and will report

So figuring a base 6 song slots, plus 5 from first AA, then 4 more from the chaotic 100 AA, we have potentially 15 song slots?

Been holding back on workin my bard partly because of this; got him to 70, but that's the easy part.

I can confirm that the you can have 5 song buffs on you pre aa, and 11 after the first round of aa's. 15 looks like the maximum amount of currently available song buff slots for a max aa character.

A bard tip:

To play your songs on melody without missing a note you only need maxed instrument skills and 2/5 in the internal metronome aa. To train your singing skills up, just sing a single song(don't use melody). You will never miss a note on that song and will still get skill ups.

my druid does have all maxed AAs including the 100point 4 extra buff slots. When i have auras and songs going, when there is a short duration buff that would normally go in the song window, but it wont fit, it overflows into my regular buff window. There have been lots of times i had the bard epic buff in my regular buff window.

Sooooo...Grind the AAs, get your buff slots maxed! You need them! With them maxed i havent noticed ever missing out on a buff or short duration buff.

As for others, ya, i see that effect wont take hold many times b/c they dont have max buff slots finished.

Grind those AAs!
