AA points question

I tried to search for this question and I am sure it has already been asked, but I couldn't find anything so I am sorry in advance.
If I run SoF client I have 214 spent aa, if I load into the Titanium client I show 120. So my question is am I spending aa points in skills that the server doesn't even use?

there was some bug with one of the revisions a few weeks ago that shows you with more spent AA on SoD/UF than Titanium, but makes zero difference in game (as far as i can tell)
just a visual bug

Well my concern is more the fact that due to the client being later content release that the AA abilities aren't recognized by the server, say I have 15 ranks of Combat Agility purchased but the server only knows how to calculate 10.

It calculates them all. As Bront said, its just a visual bug that I haven't gotten around to fixing yet.

That is a very weird and confusing bug. I totaled up all my purchased AA and it is under 210. I am going to run Titanium anyway just to rid myself of the confusion. I am sorry for freaking out, I really just thought I spent 90 AA in unsupported expansion AA that wasn't server recognized.
That does still leave me with a question though. If one person is using Titanium client that only offers certain AA, and another person is running Underfoot client that has more AA options is it better to use the latest client so you have more AA to purchase? Or, is the AA abilities server based and no matter what client you have it only shows the AA that the server uses?
I am new and am a little confused to the differences on EMU and Live. Obviously on Live if you have titanium and are playing you may only get the AA Combat Agility rank 15 then someone with Underfoot might have Combat Agility 25 because of all the expansions in between. Obviously you would want to run the latest client if you were playing because your character would be more powerful than the older client character once all AA were purchased.

No problem.
The AA's on Emulator are the same across all clients. We can add new ones of course, and we could limit them to specific clients, but all the the AA's on THF are open to all clients. Titanium has the same amount that SoF/SoD and UF have.
