Proc slot?

I was just curious what a proc slot is? I've never heard that term. Thanks

A client naturally has 4 spell proc slots, 4 ranged spell proc slots (procs that only fire on ranged dps), and 4 defensive proc slots.

So if you have 5 buffs that add procs, only 4 of then will work.

However with the new bst and enchanter spells released today, you can increase the maximum number of those slots.

So a player with the spiritual endowment rk1 will have 5 spell/ranged proc slots. So if you have 5 buffs that add procs, all of them will work.
