webtools/items.php?id=120080

1 : Effect type : Summon Pet: Chimera_1
2 : Effect type : Increase Chance to Dual Wield by 7%
3 : Effect type : Increase Attack Chance by 7%
4 : Effect type : Increase Chance to Double Attack by 7%

What does line 3 do? Also: I assume this item, when clicked, summons something like a Wizard familiar that gives you a buff and visual pet, is this correct? Could I "pet go away" and still retain the buff?

/pet get lost

Yes you retain the buff and it continues to occupy a buff slot. As a bonus, it is not removed via live descendent "dispell" effects and spells from mobs. Vaion has found a way to dispell it in T8+ tho :)

Dunno about your first question.

What does increase Attack Chance 7% do?

In your inventory page, you have a stat; ATK followed by a numeric value...

Lets say your ATK is ATK 5000. ATK isn't a rating of strength; that's STR, nor is it your damage, that's DMG. ATK is a mathematical calculation method that involves DEX.

This would add +350 ATK to your ATK score. Sometimes these things do not show up in the UI inventory screen but the always show in your #mystats window.

[so if you don't see it rest assured it is there]

So with your pet buff up your ATK would = 5350. Think of it as your "odds of hitting/missing" your target. The higher the number, the greater your attack chance % rises, the more likely you are to hit a mob in battle. This will show often when you get a lot of small crits. If your average damage against a mob is 2000 damage, but once in a while you get crits for 1-1000 damage, those are actually attacks that "missed" but your attack chance bonus [and other influencing factors] saved the miss and dealt damage to the target anyway.

The biggest pro shows in boss-type battles on melee characters. On a fight that lasts several minutes or more, those weakened hits that would have been misses can add up to 100,000+ more damage, which means you are killing things faster at all times.

Think of it as Bonus Accuracy...
