Donator Weapons Comparisons - Need Advice

Hey all,

Returning player here. On my characters I had several donator items from before the alternate versions were available. Amongst the weapons, I had shm, war, bard, and wiz. After comparison, I decided to swap the warrior and to leave the shaman as the originals, but I was wondering if anyone had any experience or advice to share with the bard or wizard.

Thanks in advance for any input provided.

Haven't seen a wiz with the first version of donor for a while now so I guess it means the second one is better :) Using the n°2 too for my part :)
About warrior one, I'd say that with raid aura, the effect of 1st version is not so useful so use 2nd one.
About shammy one, I didn't change the first version either since WoA is really too good.
Bard...shrug.

bard donor v1 can stay up forever since the duration of the buff is longer than the recast time (with the right foci at least), and this isn't true with the v2. In my humble opinion the v2 buff is objectively better though. Also, definitely warrior v2, definitely wizard v2, and you'll probably get more use out of the shaman WoA, especially if someone else you know has the 20% unresistable slow.

This is really an issue where personal opinion takes precedent though, I'd test them all and see which ones you like the best.
