Help with the re-re-tweaked Miragul Encounter?

I understand the Miragul event has gone through some refining here lately, which I know was needed. When my guildies and I first came to him all we had to do was beat him down, ignoring his adds, and we won. We had no clue there was more to the encounter.

Then he was changed so that he would despawn if you tried this strategy. We started killing his adds as they spawned, and were introduced to many more aspects to the fight. It made it much more fun, I have to admit. Too difficult for me to solo with my 4 T6 toons. As it should be. At this time, when Miragul was forced to reset he would pop right back up, and we were able to pull him again right away.

Last night my guildies and I went to him and started the fight. During the fight he despawned. We assumed that one of the mage pets was doing damage to him instead of the adds, and waited the new one hour respawn timer for him. On the second attempt we again were killing the adds as they spawned, and the mages were paying close attention to their pets, and once again Miragul despawned on us. We have no idea why. We were taking adds out fairly quickly, and *not* doing damage to Miragul.

Can anyone help me figure out the correct procedure for this fight?

When killing Wraiths, keep Miragul in the 50-60% range if you can. He will despawn and fail you if he hits 40%. At least, that's what I do. The rest is up to you!

The biggest thing is to pay attention to the adds now. Before you could, as you said just burn through them because the script was not watching for them correctly. Now if you skip certain adds, it will fail the event.

Thank you for the replies. We have completed it successfully since the old "burn him down" strategy, but thought that something else had changed, since we were taking out the adds first. We'll try it again when possible.

Reading through the replies again, I see that skipping "certain" adds will cause the reset. I don't suppose there are other adds that *need* to be skipped? Anyone? :)
