Network Port block

Hi Folks,

I ran into an issue the other day and I was hoping for some information on what I can do to resolve it.

I started playing on this server using the Titanium client and recently downloaded the SoD client from Steam. Since then I've had off and on issues with connecting to the server (with and without my firewall on). Here is the message from my firewall log:

1/27/2013 6:02:44 PM Detected Port Scanning attack 195.5.177.21:5999 192.168.1.66:61884 UDP

When my network sees this error, it completly shuts down anything having to do with the hidden forest. I've white listed the game Everquest and believe I've set it up so the IP address above (195.5.177.21 = login.thehiddenforest.org) and it still keeps shutting me down.

Last night I wetn back top using my titanium copy and had no issues from there...but would rather use the SoD client. Anyone have any ideas?

If you are using some sort of personal firewall on your gaming pc - personal advice - uninstall it.

If you run under Windows, just make sure that the Windows firewall is turned on and you connect via a router - that's enough protection right there.
