LDON Points discrepancy..

Hi there...

I am using the SOD client and as far as I can tell, I have all my files updated to the latest revision. (Wish there was a way to actually confirm this with a list I could compare to, but I digress)

My problem is that while my LDON points from missions behave normally, I find that the points I receive from the vendors for selling augs, do not. Then the vendors that I can buy items from, only see the mission points, everything over that is greyed out and cannot be spent. I think this may be true for bazaar time points as well, but I haven't confirmed this.

Any ideas?

Believe that's intended, vendor points for augs and bazaar points count as points to spend, but not points earned towards buying things.

Thanks for the reply? But that didn't really make any sense. To me at least.. How does one spend them (and what would be the point) if you can't buy anything with them?

Ok, after reading that a little more carefully and trying to extrapolate.. I think I know what you mean.
You can only buy something from a vendor that you have 'EVER' earned enough points for. The extra points only count for up to the base amount of earned points?
Say, I have 150 earned points, and 50 vendor or bazaar points.. I can buy a spell that costs 150 points and I will have 50 points left. I can now buy a 50 point item, if there is one available. But before, with 200 points, I wouldn't be able to buy a 200 point item because I had only ever earned 150 from doing adventures? I think that makes some sort of sense, although it seems a little silly to me.

That is correct. Earned and current are two different values for LDON points

Selling augs back or sitting in bazaar gives you current but not earned, completing and adventure gives you earned and current, I don't think the tokens give both, just current as well but not 100% certain.

Before you can buy something you must have an earned point total > than the required cost and current > cost of item.
