Hi folks..
Just wanted to note these items.

Quick Summoning AA on my Magician doesn't seem to be working properly. At its third rank, it is supposed to be giving a 50% less casting time. However, I am getting 7.1 seconds on a 10 second cast. And.. I think this is actually just from the other focus effects I am wearing.

Dunno about anyone else, but I find that /pet hold doesn't work.

And this is just a complaint, lol! But, shissar scale drop rate in Ssra Temple is just horrible compared to the other things for the quest. Can we get a bump on this?

Which spell, IIRC quick summoning is restricted to conjuration spells.

Which client? After V re worked pet hold and pet focus a while ago I haven't had any issue while using SOD clinet.

I know quick summoning is only for pet summon spells. As I said, a 10 second cast, takes 7.1 seconds..

And I am using SOD client. If I send in a pet and he gets aggro, then hit pet hold, he will start coming back, but will continue to engage the mob when he gets hit. I don't think that is the way it is supposed to work..

Quick summoning may not be set to the correct %s. ill double check when I get a chance. Also keep in mind that the cast time shown in the spell description may not be 100% accurate due to some client based issues. It may show a higher cast time than what is actually used.

I can confirm this actually, just logged in and with no buffs no haste item elemental essence rk. iii is showing as 8 seconds. with cleric haste buff + 48% item properly drops to 50% reduced time of 4 seconds.

As for hold, just tested it in Kael, mob hit pet, pet on hold, mob still swinging at pet, pet chilling.

Well.. my experience is different. My pets in Ssra are being beaten on by various mobs, hit pet hold when mob enrages, pet comes back to me and when hit by said mob, will turn and fight. I have to continually spam my pet hold button to keep em from taking enrage damage.

And my 10 second cast of Rk I Mage pet spell is only getting down to 7.1 seconds. I have NOT timed this with a stopwatch, just going by the times on the spell description and estimating the time when casting. I will try to get a clock on this tomorrow...

So.. dunno how to explain the difference in your experience and mine.. but I wouldn't have brought it up if it weren't a problem..

And how about those Shissar Scales.. anyone else think the drop rate is a tad too low?

About shissar scales, to be honest when I used to hunt in Ssra for HH quest and for that sunstrike (or was it nova) quest item, I found that droprate wasn't so nice, but it was a year ago. I went back there few weeks ago to camp several specific items there and they were dropping like candies. I guess it depends how fast you can kill. If you manage to wipe out the whole zone before it repops.
Item is nice but be aware that in tov you will get better very fast. It's always long to get the missing parts of a quest. They all share the same loot table so that's normal that the last parts are hard to get (especially since you have to get a specific number of each part). And add to this the Vaion code that makes the specific item specificily not dropping

Having spent A LOT of time in Ssra.. hours upon hours on the server I can definitely say the drop rate on scales needs a sizable bump up. great idea!

I'll pop into ssra and test, could be zone dependant I suppose.
*edit* tested in ssra, it was fine, until I turned on pet Focus. Then it was doing what you were describing, ignoring hold.

I was agreeing with you, QS is currently doing 0% haste for me with it maxed.

Ah.. interesting! It does appear to be Focus related. I hadn't put that together yet. Thanks!
