Spell Gem - Bug | Autoattack - Bug

Spell Gems grey out and put caster in casting state indefinitely, only fix for this was to log.
This occurred on a cleric while healing near Chardok B zone line.

Autoattack is trigged but does not attack with target in plain view and in range, only way to damage mob in this state was special attacks like flying kick and such. This happened tanking in SSRA against a disciple.

Sounds like a lag issue, possibly. Personally hasn't happened to me yet. Will keep testing.

I have had the Spell Gem/Eternal Casting bug on more than one occasion. It's usually caused by right-clicking an eqipped item to cast a spell on a pet, but the pet has not been targetted. This has happened with the Magician's legs and the Necromancer's legs. I try to be more careful and target the pet -before- clicking the legs but sometimes I screw up and get this bug. And the onlly way to clear it is to log out and then back in.

Before, and after. I had it happen yesterday evening, following the rev, in CoM with my necromancer. Since it had happened before the rev, as well, I didn't report it.

I can't speak for Catthibs issue but I can for Rerfu's. I have had this happen on a few occassions, even when I had a great internet connection. It doesn't happen often, but if there are a lot of people beating on a mob then it's triggered lag spikes on up to all 5 of my characters I box. Sometimes a few of them get out of it, others do not. The one's who don't recover can still see the HP of the mob declining, but they cannot cast, or if they're melee they do not see their hits (Even though to others they are still hitting, and if you were to shut off ATK you would stop).

Hopefully once the server line is upgraded, this problem will dissipate and it will not be an issue anymore.

Just wanted to let you guys know... if you get the spell bug you can zone to fix it (spell lock bug puts you in "casting mode" and never lets you leave however zoning cancels the casting mode and fixes the issue. Only issue? You have to zone out manually (via a zone line) because clicking your charm won't work and neither will gate. If gating is the only way you can zone out then yes the only way to fix it is to log out and back in.
