Bard Songs

Recently the bards command for twisting songs (#melody) has been switched to /melody...I am unable to have my songs play continously. After 6seconds all the songs are gone and the bard does not continue looping them. I have to manually go in a play a song, similar to the first year or so of original EQ. I am only curious as to how I am able to get my bard to loop the songs as he did before on the #melody 1 2 3 4 command

/melody is completely stopped when the bard misses a note currently. I am also finding this to be annoying hehe. #melody just ignored missed notes completely i think.

Bumping an old thread.

Just started a Bard up recently and am have the exact same problem.

Was there a fix for this somewhere, or... ?

That link just takes me back to the portal homepage, which I'm assuming had something that referred to the OPs question.. however, several months ago.

The command is no longer #melody. It's /melody. And as soon as you miss a note, it discontinues the melody chain which can prove to be a PITA for botting.

I've heard great success from bards who have all relevant aa and skills done pertaining to missed notes etc. Couple hundred aa should help it, along with the basic defense aa's.

Well apparently the rumor is with the SoD client, /melody goes a bit smoother. However, on Titanium, I know for a fact that without the required AA's--you'll be missing tons of notes and restarting that melody chain continuously.
