I'd like to see the full spectrum of possibilities myself. Not impossible that a chart of dps with near identical gear for a rogue and a ranger for example would vary more or less at various points. For example rogue and ranger might be more evenly matched in full chaos gear and less so with HoH gear.

Some suggestion for example that ranger crits are not as good as those of rogues with clickies and uber weapons etc.

Yes they are overstatements of what we really attain in game but they do give us an index of maximum possible....and we do need a common standard to enable us to, for example, evaluate which class gets the highest dps.

I understand and agree with the need for consistency. Remember, the data we are providing is what the GM's are using to make decisions off of. If we overstate those values, then we sell ourselves short. We need to create a realistic standard. One where buffs fade.

As far as the gear goes...

For Donors, the BP only lasts one minute. This is our biggest boost to dps, bar none. Running it for three minutes is a gross overstatement of our real dps abilities.

For non donors, the HoH BP only lasts 30 seconds. Intensity of the resolute and the Epic clicks only last 1 minute. Guardian of the forest, 45 seconds.

Without these buffs, our dps is non existent.

Lol and for heaven's sake the arena is just a port away out of GH :D

Lanx you do make a solid point...maybe I should port out to arena.

The GMs are realistic I believe though. They've already committed to insane burst dps from rogues. So relative scores will be most effective I think in class BALANCE issues. Similar attired and outfitted rogues vs. rangers etc. If we can show, for example, that ranger dps is, at best, only 70 percent of rogue dps, we might be able to convince GMs to crank up rangers a tad more.

I think Mystic Kitty's ranger is a great point of comparison---purrfect. But we need her other dps characters in there to see how the ranger with the bow stacks up.

Still to far... Lol but yeah anyways so...Basically parsed her with 0 clickies. She was fully buffed with what my group had to give though.
