The dps on all NORMAL pets of same level is the same. So mages rogue pet, dps wise will be like a druid rogue pet. However, druid pets have 1/4 mages pet hp and ac ;)
They are meant to boost druids casual live.

As far as a potential mage swarm pet goes, I am playing around with 1k base damage ;)
Maybe ;)

Well I was thinking 1 from epic 1.5 and 3 from epic 2.0 (if they are equal power per pet)

Alternatively it could be 3 and 3 - simply to show you THE SWARM
But of course 2.0 swarm will be more powerful

more on toys:

I was thinking to remove the Fear Bag of pet toys before anyone actually obtain them, and spread them among previous tiers in form of armor and weapons of different effects.
So rather than getting 1 pet weapon from ToV pants and a whole bag in Fear, they will be evenly spread across all tiers individually and give you joy of collecting them ;)
What you think?

Does that mean were gonna have a big bag of like 8 clickies for each piece of armor? or how would you do it? It sounds like a good idea, unless we have like a 10 slot bag of clickies we have to click to setup the pet :p

I was planning to add individual pet clickies to various armor pieces spread out through tiers, but looks like you are right - you will be forced to carry them all around
This may need more thinking on it...

Make a quest for the clickies, first area is Weapons, next quest is a new clicky you turn the old one in for, that gives Weapons + Whatever, so on and so forth, 1 clicky for all the stuff, it just evolves as you progress.

Possible... this however would require me to set up a ton of individual spells

How about this approach:

We have a quest npc, who offers quests for individual items.
You can do quests in any order.
As you complete each quest, you can just hail the ncp and receive the item for the completed part.
This will allow me to spread quest components between different tiers, and at same time allows you to get your items in one place at once as you complete the quests. And no need to carry any clickies at all.

The only downside is that npc will sitting somewhere in the forest, which means when leaving for the raid you would have to stock up on items from him ahead of time

Could you throw in one that gives you a clicky item that summons all he gives once u complete them all or something? Kinda like an ultimate prize for doing them all or something? but other then that, it sounds like a good idea :) as long as one gets put in the vale too :p The Forest is ebil

I am starting to think just leave the bag of fear toys as is, just modify it a bit to there is useless items.

On subject of raid pet Rune proc - how much rune should be sufficient. How about 2.5k?
