Talking about both the Paly and SK trainers missing the 1H and 2H Piercing? I can't recall if trainers (on Live) were always able to train every "legal" weap skill. But I do seem to recall that they could only train up to limit...maybe 100?

Also, just out of curiosity, do the emu's (and THF specifically) follow the same weap limits as Live? For example, monks can't use Slashing/Piercing, etc.?

Well it's about 2h Piercing, was swinging with my SK for a few Minutes on one of the dummies in forest and had no skill gain in 2hP so decided hey let's put one point in it via trainer.

After a bit of digging the skill caps table didn't have anything for 2h piercing. I think for now that means you currently hit like you have max skill (or at least it does for me). Either way I've copied the skill caps for 2hs and applied to 2h piercing so you'll get the skill on the trainer next patch.

Also worth noting that on underfoot clients it will use 1h piercing instead, apparently it only got a separate skill in rain of fear so I guess that explains it being missing in the skill caps table.

Well ya i always thought it was just piercing Knights had in the past, only 2hp weapon i remember on Live back in Velious was the lance and as Pop came out i think they added 1hp weapons for knights specific.

Main reason i posted was cause didn't received any skill gains on 2hp for a few minutes hitting dummy, and seem way more misses with him than using 2h Sword.

I am not an authority on ROF2 but in the past piercing has just been that, piercing; there has never been 1hp or 2hp. I believe that was an update in ROF2 but perhaps the trainers are still using titanium tables?

Think you are right about that for the longest time both 1h and 2h piercing weapons would fall under piercing skill.
So question would it be maybe possible to change the weapon to a 1h piercing weapon while still require to be used as 2 handed weapon ? If so might be the easier solution just would need to change the skill + from 2h to 1h piercing too.
