Just adding a spot to do necromancer feedback.

So far:

The level 65 ancient lich is pretty good.

The Ignite Bones like spells do not make the raid mobs undead for paladin and they severely glitch out and become unhittable for the duration.

My highest end dot is 760 a tick unfocused. My highest lifetap is 1700 unfocused.

My 67 pet is an afterthought in ToV it has the same survivability as a shaman pet against rampage, will need to finish my 1.5 / 2.0 before I can feedback this though.

DOT mana cost is really high, I have to meditate in between mobs more or less.

Fight durations are no where even close to what they were on live, so total damage done to boss mobs will not be very high at all (with Sleeper most likely being the exception). I predict this will hold up if I have the time / resources to T4 gear and augment out my Necromancer.

-you expected that it would?? =)
Unfortunately there is no such property as changiggn mob type via spell =)
the visual effect is glitchy since each model is designed to be certain size, and in some cases just changing the model causes reach issues

I figured it couldn't hurt to try.

Thx for the feedback Rerfu. Only things i did so far is tweak pets as for all casters and up the high level Dots/Taps as i did for the others.

So any feedback is welcome. Irrc only the 1.5 has a real pet, the 2.0 has a swarm pet. Due to lack of feedback that was never changed. Although 1.5 + swarm pets is also a nice combo.

Necromancer 2.0 Ancient Frozen Deathwhisper

Click Effect: Guardian of Blood
PET :: blood_skeleton2
Full name : blood skeleton2
Level : 70
Race : Skeleton New
Class : Warrior
Health points : 4300
Damages : 60 to 120
HP regen : 3 hp per tick
Mana regen : 0 mana points per tick
Special attacks : Enrage, Quadruple Attack, Unslowable, Unfearable, Immune to fleeing

Added up the total of 1748 points of damage to Vlan over 30 seconds or w/e it lasted but its pretty weak for a 2.0 click

4300hps its probably going to have a lifespan of 3ft into ramp or ae range unless im missing some special immunity it has

I have no idea's atm since my necro is just an alt for loot rots mainly and dont want this changed to something that a main necro would find stupid so hes on perma camp at character select until you decide what you guys are doing with pets and stuff.

yeah as a epic swarm pet 2k dmg for the duration is not really impressive.

What is the recast time on it?

as far as options go:

-we could make the swarmy more impressive (not going to grantee it will survive Rampage, but at least it will do some decent dmg while it lasts)

-change into a solid new pet

-change click effect into something new entirely, maybe a powerful DOT?

Personally, I think a substantial upgrade is necessary here...

I suggest a new pet that has a group heal lifetap proc with a decent rate, possibly somewhat half as frequent as panther for say ~300 dd/hp? Or something similar that would help increase desire for grouping. If even just in the form of a swarm pet that procs group heal lifetap as frequent as panther for around 600 each proc, then it would give a pretty fair reason to strive for 2.0. Obviously more hps and dps would be necessary as well...

That would be pretty cool and would give a reason to have a necro along on a raid. A proc like that on a swarm pet could result in some serious healing even if the pets died on rampage. This would allow for the occasionaly burst of healing, yet it would be a little unpredictable since it was a proc on a swarm pet.

What about something that procs mana to the group.
