ok .. i dunno bout you all .. but i have found that my DPS on my * SK * L70 <ToV armor + donator w/ Sleeper/PoAir augs > 500 aa's is pushing out less then 1k DPS with Pet

Theres something wrong with this picture .. when a Warrior w/ Anger augs Duel Wielding for over 3k DPS ... Did SK's get the shaft ?

Tanking is a bitch with lack of defense skills .. and DPS is lower then a ranger .. geesh

Please post a detailed parsed explained in here. If you have no idea how, follow this guide.

Beside, tradionally Knights where never the Kings of DPS and will always be much lower than that of a ranger. If its too low, we will tweak this.

tyrhera responded on the parsing thread, although she didn't give enough information in my opinion or receive a response. i figured i would respond here, as opposed to starting a new thread on the same subject as to not create forum junk.

I've been raiding with Mofish and the parsing results are embarrassing. I'm holding a Yari of Forgotten Warlords and am not poorly geared. I was parsing at about 400DPS while throwing on DOTs, proccing, using pet, and using Improved HT.

Now, I know that knights are intended to be tanking classes, but I see a strong imbalance when I look through the information that people have posted. Paladins, who are healer knights, are doing almost 2-3x more damage on the posted parses. Shadowknights (Damage knights), who use DOTs, Leech, pet and more are parsing as one of the lowest DPS classes? And in some areas my pet (buffed) can get killed in one round.

If anything, Shadowknight deserves to be outputting as much as (if not realistically more) DPS than Paladins. I won't argue that OMGOMG I WANT 2 DO AS MUCH DPS AS ZERK~, because I know what class I'm playing.

I also see that Paladins way out-DPS SK, that between WAR/SK everybody will pick a WAR, and that SK basically gets the shaft in all cases here. Shadowknight, as it stands, is almost useless- the only reason I'm holding him as my main is because I'd like to see this change.

Thank you for the changes to hate- it looks as though I can hold aggro better now, at least. Maybe if AC was acting as a knight's should, I'd be able to tank?

what spells are you using because i recently upgraded all custom SK spells.

What is the Paladin putting out as DPS?

p.s. i know that Knights are at the bottom atm and that will be changed but i need more Data then what you posted (sorry but you basically gave no info at all)

I really would like to see less of a gap between knights in general and warriors. I don't like nerfs and certainly don't wish them upon warriors, but right now theres no contest.

I know, no idea though how to bring Warriors inline withour hard nerfs. Warriors do too much dps. Around 4k. More or equal to monks. They should be doing 1k less while knights should be doing 1k more.

Maybe tweak the warrior epics and retune all hate augs that currently do damage to do no damage (but maybe add some more hate to compensate).

I'll work on gathering information tonight/tomorrow, I just wanted to voice my opinion and give reasons for my argument as an opening. Going through moving right now, but I'll get parsing information to you as soon as possible.

Parsing is not needed really, i know that SK dps is fail as per the thread title. Same with PALs. Im surprised that Paladin DPS is supposed to be higher. I mean they don't even get DoTs and lets not start about their nukes lol.

So why on Earth should they be stronger?
