Was dire charm forgotten about or are you still having database issues? Someone in the guild finally level'd up a chanter and has been giving some feedback on them.

A few issues are:

-- No charmable mobs in Kael or ToV (other than those weener drakes who hit for 500 and have 5k HP)

-- ToV mobs are Unmezzable which makes them basically buff bots in that zone.

--No mobs in the emp room are charmable and due to mobs getting stuck under the world I don't think it would be wise to try to bring one up with you.

Would summon companion work to bring a pet up into Emp chamber?

Has anyone tested this yet? It makes sense saying the spell was created for those reasons.

Yes, summon companion does indeed work in the Emp Chamber, but if your pet dies up there, your SoL...

This is still very true, has a full time chanter, these zones are very frustrating...nothing to mezz, my nukes get resisted a lot, and everything is way to high level to charm. On live, Kael was a great place to charm and kill, and during ToV raids, there was always something near I could charm and throw back into the mix.

Didn't forget this - but without a working editor etc.... We are working on getting this damn thing working.

Kael has Wolves now as DC fodder, the trash has 100 to all saves and should be mezzable.

Oh and as far as Charming in ToV goes, there are the trash mobs right after the tov door and as a hint, try to get the enchanter legs asap
